Who are we?
The website chauffeur-prive-nice.fr is published by Chauffeur Privé Nice (contact details below), the controller of your personal data. Contact: cpnchauffeur@gmail.com.
What data do we collect?
- Booking, quote and contact requests: name, phone, email, pick-up and drop-off addresses, date and time, number of passengers and bags, flight or train number, message.
- Newsletter: email address, only if you subscribe.
- WhatsApp: if you write to us via WhatsApp, your number and messages are processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms.
- Browsing data: IP address, browser type and pages viewed, through cookies (see below).
Why and on what basis?
- Responding to your requests, preparing a quote and carrying out the ride: pre-contractual measures and performance of the contract.
- Invoicing and accounting: legal obligation.
- Sending the newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.
- Audience measurement and site security: legitimate interest or consent, depending on the cookies concerned.
How long do we keep it?
- Requests with no follow-up: 3 years after the last contact.
- Data related to a ride, and invoices: 10 years (accounting obligations).
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Cookies: 13 months at most.
Who has access to it?
Your data is reserved for Chauffeur Privé Nice and the driver in charge of your ride. It is never sold. Our technical providers may access it to operate the service: IONOS (hosting, France/EU), Google (email, statistics tools) and Meta (WhatsApp). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR.
Cookies
The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work (translation, security, forms) and, with your consent, Google audience measurement cookies. You can change your choices at any time via the “Cookies” link at the bottom of the page or in your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent. To exercise them, write to cpnchauffeur@gmail.com. We reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr.
